Give Yourself The Gift of Wellness and Reap The Rewards
If you listed out your priorities, would your health be one of them? Many of you would likely say no. There’s no shame, though, here ladies. I was once in your shoes. We say we’ll get around to it one day but we keep putting our wellness on the back burner. It’s time to get past the point of seeing your health goals as selfish or simply a “self-care” routine and start seeing it as an act of obedience to the Lord as we take care of our bodies and eliminate stress.
Why do you need to prioritize your health and wellness?
1. Prevention of diseases
2. Long-term rewards
3. Improved quality of life
Investing in Your Health Now and Reaping the Rewards – Are You on the Right Track?
On this week’s Faith-Based Weight Loss for Women podcast, we have a special guest, Norma, who can vouch for each of the reasons listed above to explain why she finally decided to invest in her health. She was tired of the aches and pains she experienced doing simple tasks, she was burnt out from stress, and she was sad because she was missing out on playing with her grandkids.
But, Nora’s story has a happy ending, because she stepped out of her comfort zone and stepped forward in faith!
It was through prayer – inviting God in – and having a community to hold her accountable that made all the difference in Norma’s journey. “Ask for help! Don’t try to do it on your own… you might miss out on all the things I learned from this program,” she said.
Many of you might see the Five Principle Method program as a luxury and if that is the case, I encourage you to join our Facebook community and utilize the free resources available there. You can’t afford to let your health decline at the expense of comfort, lack of knowledge, or resources any longer. There is a community of women, myself included, ready to come alongside you and cheer you on.
